with heavy heart

My Father lost his battle with cancer last week, he was 64. He was a wonderful man and I feel blessed that he was my Dad. He was diagnosed 14 years ago with a rare form of Lymphoma (Waldenström Macroglobulinemia) and treatment really ramped up in the last two years having received 7 different ones over that short time. I am so very proud of him and he has been a role model to me in how he faced his cancer - with strength, vigor and grace. I will miss him terribly and will hold his memory in my heart forever.

  1. Kathleen, we are so very sorry to hear of your father's passing. It was a memorable service and the letter he left behind is something that we will hold on to as a reminder of how precious life is. I heard a saying once that's stuck with me and I wanted to share:

"He didn't tell me how to live, he lived and let me watch him do it"

It's sounds to be true of your dad, considering how long he fought the cancer battle and from the stories you've told me about him over the years.

We're constantly thinking about you and are here for whatever you need. Little Jonathan was too sweet for words. I wanted to squish him so much.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.

    Sarah
