day 9

Radiation started last week and it has quickly become part of the daily routine. It is hard to believe I am having my ninth treatment already. My skin is just starting to get a little burnt but the fatigue hasn't gotten any worse than what's leftover from chemotherapy. They say it will start to hit next week. I feel like I am having my own little Big Brother experience everyday because the technicians leave the room after getting me all lined up and watch me on a monitor and talk to me through a mic while I get zapped. I don't get to vote anybody off though.

  1. Hey Kathleen,
Shawn and I were just sitting around on a Saturday night wondering how you were doing, and thought we'd check in. Great to see you are still up to blogging and wishing you the best. Remember we are in your 'hood should you need to talk or find yourself in the need of a glass of red wine (soon).
    Take care.

  2. We're thinking about you Kathleen. Radiation sounds like a real treat...can't wait for it to all be finished for you. At least the new shows are back on tv next week so you'll have something to watch when you're "chillaxing" (did you see the "I Love you Man" movie - it's a must!!).
Keep up the blog - I hope it's as good for you as it is for us followers who are always thinking about you.
    Love,
    Sarah
